I am going to do a Singorama review for you, and as usual, I will try to be as objective as possible.  Singorama is a series of lesson designed to help you learn how to sing at a professional level no matter what level they are at from the start.  That’s a pretty steep claim.  Now – anyone who has ever watched American Idol – KNOWS that there are some people who just should NOT try to sing!

That being said, I will say that I am very impressed with the level of the instructions in this program. I can’t really say if I’m ready to face Simon Cowell yet – and maybe I never will be, but I will say that the lessons really do teach you how to sing.  And there are plenty of testimonials on their site that I feel are very genuine based on what I experienced.

I believe that the reason why Singorama does so well is that they do not try to make you sound like someone else.  They teach you how to use what God gave you, and working with that – make it better.  In fact the very FIRST Audio lesson is called “Introduction and how to understand your own voice” and it’s designed to get you to understand right where you are at, and what you need to do to get you where you want to be.

They also have a little mini-recording studio software that you can record yourself singing along with the tracks – so you can hear what you really sound like – This is worth the price of admission for me alone!  Can you imagine how many people would show up on American Idol if they really HEARD what they sounded like before they went?  Maybe if they had this tool, they would have been able to hear what we hear, and would have had the opportunity to try to get it right before they went on National TV and made fools of themselves.

There are 28 Audio Lessons in the base system – plus the bonus lessons and also the software and games that help you learn and practice.  They cover everything from where understanding your own voice, to warming up and strengthening, to how to breath and proper posture all in the first 3 lessons.  From there they start getting into the real nitty-gritty as they call it.  Digging in to Tone and Pitch, and what bad habits to AVOID at all costs!

It’s very comprehensive and I really believe that if they can help me – they can help anyone!  Yes, maybe even some of those folks on American Idol!
